:(C2H5)2O·BF3 无色发烟液体。在空气中遇湿气立即水解。分解时生成剧毒的氟化物烟雾。相对密度1.125(25/4℃)。熔点-60.4℃。沸点125.7℃。折射率1.4447。在有机合成中用作乙酰化、烷基化、聚合、脱水和缩合反应的催化剂。也可用作分析试剂和环氧树脂固化剂。又是制造硼氢高能燃料和提取同位素硼10的基本原料。由硼酸与发烟硫酸和萤石粉反应后经乙醚吸收而得；也可由无水乙醚与三氟化硼气相反应制得。

An improved process for the prepn. of boron trifluoride di-Et etherate which comprises adding 1-4 mol of boric acid to an excess of conc. sulfuric acid, stirring the resultant mixt., distg. the mixt. to remove the moisture formed, cooling the mixt. to <100℃ adding to the cooled mixt. 0.5-8.0 mol of calcium fluoride with stirring, heating the mixt. to a temp. between 110-250?to generate boron trifluoride gas, passing the gas through traps successively and individually contg. anhyd. boric oxide-sulfuric acid soln., sodium fluoride, ether and fused calcium chloride, the traps contg. ether being externally cooled up to 0℃　so as to facilitate absorption of the boron trifluoride gas by the ether forming thereby the boron trifluoride di-Et etherate
