Stability

呈橙色. 易挥发. 溴的蒸气红棕色。移取液溴时，需戴橡皮手套。溴水的腐蚀性较液溴弱，在取用时不允许直接倒而要使用滴管。如果不慎把溴水溅在皮肤上，应立即用水冲洗，再用碳酸氢钠溶液或稀硫代硫酸钠溶液冲洗。

溴水呈紅棕色，是溴的顏色。在水溶液中溴與水作用產生無色的H+、Br-及HBrO(次溴酸)。在水溶液中，也可發生逆反應而保持平衡，
