This is the most comprehensive book on reactor design on the market. Like Nauman's previous book on reactor design, it assumes a smart reader. It is thus more suitable for working engineers or graduate students rather than the typical undergraduate, but a good instructor could pull it off and learn a lot in the process. Numerical techniques are stressed to allow rigorous design calculations for complex situations. I particularly like the chapters on laminar flow reactors and polymerizations where the book really has no competition.
