Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct and coordinate microbiological research in Shanghai R&D corporate research environment focused on innovations and product opportunities for Foods, Home and Personal Care.
2. Develop strong research network and liason with other company research centers, including developing and maintaining research relationships and projects with 3rd party partners and universities.
3. Perform project tasks and research activities within laboratory, and manage projects and teams to ensure target deliverables are achieved.
4. Enhance research capabilities both internally and externally to optimize introductions of written reports, intellectual property and patents, delivery of project targets, and new innovations to marketplace.
5. Introduce and initiate new project ideas that strategically fit company portfolio and deliver project innovation targets.
6. Ensure a high energy, motivating, vitality environment for self and team that fully meet company safety and business ethic requirements.

Job Requirements:

1. PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Biological Sciences with related experience.
2. 5 - 10 years post-doctoral work experience within research environment with strong background using molecular and culturing techniques in Microbiology.
3. Strong capabilities in biolfilm analysis, dental plaque analysis, microbial attachment to modified surfaces, qPCR techniques, with applied genomics and bioinformatics capability ideally in area of micro fungi.
4. Project management experience and particularly team building experience will be an asset.
5. Fluent in Mandarin and English communication
6. Team Oriented; Learns Quickly; Adapts well to change; Able to multi-task when working for different supervisors;
